What a Christian thinks of the new novel 50 Shades of Grey told by Christian?
According to Wikipedia, ” Grey: fifty shades of grey as told by Christian PDF is an erotic PDF novel (not suitable for children) 2011 by British author EL James. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes with elements of sexual practices involving: bondage / discipline, domination / submission, sadism / masochism “.
Interestingly enough, this movie despite being full of messages about sex immoral directors and producers do not want to hide or “soften” nothing to attract more audience or cause public rejection.By contrast, both the book and the film, are quite explicit telling a story full of wickedness and sexual aberrations. What is surprising is that while Fifty Shades of Grey, has clearly satanic ideas about sex, this has not stopped its “success” because, “has topped the best seller worldwide, including the UK and the United States. The series has sold 31 million copies around the world, “he tells us Wikipedia. And it is expected that millions of people go to see the movie.
In other words, the directors of the film does not have to make efforts trying to hide or delete scenes full of sexual immorality, because there seems to be millions of people in the world willing to open the doors of their hearts and minds to eat this garbage . In my country, for example, a media reported that all tickets for 50 Shades of Grey as told by Christian pdf download, have been sold in pre-sales for Caribbean Cinemas theaters.
What a Christian about this pdf book and the film thinks “Fifty Shades of Grey PDF”?
This post is dedicated to making a thorough analysis of this film. The reason I’m writing this post is because some young Christians have asked me what I think about this movie, some have asked whether it is right that a young man sees it or if it is correct that both spouses go to the movies to see .
I understand that there are situations, issues or decisions that are sometimes difficult to take because they may not have enough biblical texts about some “gray” areas of life. The problem deciding not to see this film is not a gray area. The Bible is silent as to what should be my answer or my decisions about sexual immorality and promoting illicit sex.
I want to analyze the following: If the movie you are talking about, promotes sexual aberrations, sexual violence, sexual practices that can only come from their minds fully delivered passions and “creativity” of the devil. If this movie distorts the image of man and woman, whether it promotes women as mere sexual object, if it promotes sex without having to be on the basis of pure love in marriage, then, for what the hell, a Christian You should see that movie.
The Bible speaks loud and clear about the sexual immorality:
As I said above, I can understand that some Christians are confused when they have to make decisions and implement actions where the Bible gives us a precise order on what to do (and yet the Bible has light for all), but this movie is not one of those cases where I must act according to what I understand in “my Christian freedom.” DO NOT.
The Bible commands me to stay away from sexual immorality: “Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place in God’s people (Ephesians 5: 3). ”
The Bible commands me to “Flee fornication. All other sins a man commits are outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18). ”
In other palaras, the Bible motivates me to see a movie or enjoy a book that celebrates diabolical so vulgar and any act of fornication.
The Bible commands me to present my whole being, including my body to holiness:
“You Do not present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness (Rom 6:13).
The Bible order me to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11).”
In other words, instead of a Christian promote or enjoy this crap movie or pdf book, have a commandment to have nothing to do with it. On the contrary, it better rebuking or denouncing this as sin and wrong content type for 50 shades of grey as told by Christian.
Fast forward to biblical maturity:
Dear brothers who read me, I know that many of you are mature in Christ. But unfortunately there are also many Christians who have years although in the gospel, they remain spiritually immature.
The apostle Paul, send us develop maturity of thought.
“Brethren, be not children in the way of thinking, but be babes in evil, but mature in the mindset (1 Cor 14:20).”
When a Christian is not biblically informed about such basic things as the design of sex, stewardship of the body, holiness, sexual purity, issues such as these that the Bible abounds with clear commands to ensure our holiness and purity to the Holy God that demands holiness, then you need to go before God, praying, studying the Bible, relate to fellow believers to help you grow, read good books that will help you grow in your Bible knowledge, among other disciplines and actions in to mature spiritually.
Please answer me this last question as an exercise for Grey:
If the “Grey: fifty shades of grey as told by Christian PDF” commands me to live in sexual purity and flee sexual immorality, what should be my decision or response when I am facing a movie, song, book, novel or person presenting me immoral content?
A: Say NO, NO and NO.
All that takes my desire to obey God is an act of sin and idolatry.
